WHY A CHURCH PLANT IN NYAHURURU

Nyahururu is the home to the famous Thomson Falls which is 74meters (234ft) high on Ewaso Narok River. The town is a commercial centre with large banks such as Absa, KCB, Cooperative Bank, Equity and Family Banks. The town has a number of hotels like the Panari Resort and Thomson Falls Lodge Hotel. The town heavily relies on the transport industry and links major highways to cities such as Nairobi, Nakuru and Nyeri. Most of these roads are now in good condition, and properly paved. The town is also frequented by marathon and cross-country runners for practicing before major events due to its high altitude. With the town being a business hub there are many young professionals who have relocated to settle here. Hence the need to plant an urban church to reach out to the spiritual needs of this generation.
