Waiyaki way - Arise Afrika Mission

Waiyaki way

Our mission and desire is to see that every person who walks through our doors has a life changing experience through connecting with God and with each other by challenging believers to Christlikeness and changing the world. Our focus will be on the six mountains of influence in the society. This being the arts and media; business and commerce; governance and politics; church and religion; science and medicine; and finally family and education. Everyone works in one or more of these sectors, and if we are all faithful disciples, living lives that represent Him where He has placed us, we will change this world.

Demographics

There are many residential estates along Waiyaki way for example Kitusuru where expatriates live which is closer to the Canadian and United States of America embassies in Kenya along Limuru road. Being an urban English speaking church it will be ideal to reach out to foreigners living and working in Kenya, the parliamentarians and the investors who live in this suburbs.

Population

This is a mix of the high, middle and low class citizens. On the East side of the highway is a slum known as Kangemi with a population of 100,000 residents. About 20,000 residents belong to a catholic parish based there. Through our Social Transformation Pillar, we will work with these residents to bring social economic impact as we share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
