Ngong Road

With the recent expansion of the Ngong road to a dual carriage most people have moved to build permanent homes in Ngong, Karen, Kilimani, Kileleshwa and its environs. At International Christian Center we believe in growing small as we grow big. There are connect groups members who meet during the week from this residential places but come to ICC Nairobi on Sunday. The longest distance from this location to church is approximately 20.5km while the shortest is approximately 8.4km. Planting a church here will reduce the traveling distance for families on a Sunday Morning and during the midweek services. More souls will be reached within the residential areas.

The Location

Ngong Road is a major road in Kenya that links the city of Nairobi to Ngong town. It runs from the Nairobi central district and connects to service roads that leads to Kileleshwa and Kilimani .

Demographics

A large number of expatriates live here because of the job opportunities, which has led to the city’s explosive growth. The city is growing at a rate of over 4% annually, primarily because of the high birth rates and immigrants that come to Nairobi searching for employment opportunities. It is estimated that the city will continue on its upward trajectory in terms of population, reaching 5 million in 2022.

Land Rates

Most of the land is developed along Ngong road. The alternative available is to buy a developed space and redevelop to accommodate a church with a school in future.
