Ruai

Ruai is the main shopping centre for Njiru, Kamulu and residents living within this environs. It borders Nairobi and Machakos county. We need to plant a church to reach the constant stream of new groups, residents and generations coming up.  As an urban church we will have freedom to be innovative and try a particular approach which when it succeeds other churches will use it as a model.

The Location

This sits within the greater Nairobi Metropolitan area. It is located 35 Kilometers from Nairobi Central Business District, Kenya. It lies on the east side of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport bordering Kamulu to the East, Njiru to the West, Embakasi Ranching on the North West and Drumvale to the South and Mihango/Utawala to the South West.

The Population

From 2019 census the population was at 161,551. In 2016, Kamulu was ranked among the fastest growing real-estate areas along Kangundo Road and has experienced rapid construction boom since then.
