Machakos is one of the fastest growing towns in Kenya. As Apostle Paul planted churches in Asia minor, his focus was on strategic metropolitan cities so that the gospel would naturally flow from there to other cities. One of our over-arching goal and this upcoming city has the potential to accommodate it, is to plant an urban church, raise and disciple Godly leaders with a heart to bring positive and lasting impact in this communities and in the marketplace.

 The Location

Machakos County borders Nairobi and Kiambu counties to the West, Embu to the North, Kitui to the East, Makueni to the South, Kajiado to the South West, and Murang’a and Kirinyaga to the North West. The distance from Nairobi to Machakos is 63km or 39 miles. It is in the Metropolitan border and is surrounded by a hilly terrain.

The Population

Machakos County is one of the 47 counties of Kenya. Its largest town is Machakos, the county’s administrative headquarters. The county had a population of 1,421,932 as of 2019.
